4,4'-Diaminodicyclohexyl methane (DDCM for short) exists in three stereoisomers with different thermodynamic properties: trans-trans, cis-trans and cis-cis. It is a polyetheramine with multiple amino groups and a cyclohexylmethane backbone. It is soluble in water and most organic solvents. It has a certain alkalinity and can react with acids to form salts.
4,4'-Diaminodicyclohexyl methane can be used to process all kinds of environmentally friendly polyurethane coatings, adhesives and other surface materials with good transparency and resistance to yellowing. Epoxy resin cured by diaminodicyclohexyl methane has excellent heat resistance, dielectric properties, solvent resistance, mechanical properties, as well as excellent optical properties, weathering properties, can be used in damping materials, optical materials, coatings, engineering plastics, adhesives and other fields.
4,4'-Diaminodicyclohexyl methane is an important chemical raw material with wide range of uses, which can be used in textile, paper making, artificial leather, plastic processing; used as raw material of dyestuff and pharmaceutical intermediates; also used as raw material for manufacturing urethane esters, polyamide resins, strong electric insulating materials, magnetic tape adhesive and so on.
