4-Aminobenzoic acid 4-aminophenyl ester is soluble in alcohols, ethers and ketones, slightly soluble in water. It is an acidic substance and can react with bases to form salts in water. It can also undergo esterification and can be reduced to the corresponding p-aminobenzoic acid.
4-Aminobenzoic acid 4-aminophenyl ester can be used as a monomer to synthesize transparent polyimide and polyimide composite materials for aerospace, 5G MPI and other applications.
It can also be used as raw material for rubber antioxidant and optical brightener.
