Bis[2,6-difluoro-3-(1H-pyrrol-1-yl)phenyl]titanocene, also known as photoinitiator 784, is a very active orange solid photoinitiator, with good photoactivity, thermal stability and low toxicity, etc., as an active diluent is mainly used for the UV and visible light curing of unsaturated prepolymers with mono- or multifunctional vinyl monomers and zwitterions. Especially suitable for imaging or information storage class photopolymer curing in the field of high technology content and high value-added, information storage equipment, such as photographic layer, holography, laser direct imaging, stereoscopic lithography. It can trigger the polymerization reaction of unsaturated resin under the action of visible light or ultraviolet light. Curing can be carried out under UV light, visible light or even suitable laser irradiation, such as Ar-laser (488 nm), FD-Nd/YAG-laser (532 nm). The curing properties can be obtained by isolating oxygen during the curing process.
